The Arti & Vineet Mehrotra Welfare Foundation (AVM Welfare Foundation), established in 2022 by the Director of FONTY Supply Chain Solutions, Arti Mehrotra, and her daughter, Mahika Mehrotra, is a philanthropic initiative dedicated to empowering underprivileged and marginalised sections of society.
Our mission is to uplift marginalised and underserved communities by delivering impactful, action-driven solutions that foster resilience and promote long-term self-reliance.
We are committed to providing practical and sustainable support in often-overlooked areas – urban slums, rural regions, low-income households, and vulnerable communities. Our multifaceted initiatives primarily focus on Education, Sports, Healthcare, Skill Development, and Cultural Preservation through the promotion of art and music.
At AVM Welfare Foundation, we are deeply committed to transforming lives through our key pillars of impact – Education, Sports, Healthcare, and Skill Development. Through these initiatives, we aim to empower individuals, provide essential resources, and foster strong, self-sustaining communities.
Each of these pillars is designed with a focused purpose, working collectively to create meaningful, measurable, and lasting change within society.
We help fulfill the dreams of students from underprivileged families by covering school and college fees for the institutions of their choice. Over 50 students – including those studying to become doctors, engineers, nurses, musicians, and artists – are currently supported under our Educational Support and Literacy programme. Some are now in their final year of university.
We provide supplies, including school uniforms, bags, stationary and technology, as well as improve school infrastructure with toilets, drinking water facilities, and utensils. We also provide Braille kits and musical instruments to visually impaired children so they can continue education in the best way for them. To date, over 1,600 children and young adults have been supported – and counting.
Learn MoreWe work to improve access to healthcare and well-being for those most in need. Our initiatives include free medical check-ups, surgeries, and blood donation camps, benefiting over 100 people so far.
We also provide more than 1,000 meals each month to hospital patients and their families, ensuring that no one goes hungry during treatment. In addition, we support senior citizens and children in orphanages with blankets, clothing, and medicines, offering care and dignity to those in vulnerable situations.
Learn MoreWe are dedicated to equipping individuals with practical skills that lead to meaningful employment and long-term independence. Through our Skill Development Center, we provide specialised training in the logistics sector, including Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operations and servicing.
A key part of our initiative focuses on women who have had limited access to education or have faced difficult life circumstances – including those who are widowed or re-entering the workforce for the first time. For them, we offer vocational programmes in tailoring, beauty, and digital literacy, empowering them to rebuild their confidence, gain financial stability, and take control of their futures.
Looking ahead, we plan to expand our curriculum to include IoT, predictive maintenance, and modern MHE systems, preparing our students for the evolving job market.
To date, over 50 individuals have benefitted from our skill development and vocational training programmes – and this number continues to grow as we create new pathways to self-reliance.
Learn MoreWe believe that sports cultivate discipline, teamwork, and confidence – values that build strong individuals and communities. We sponsor coaching programmes, sports kits, and essential equipment to ensure that every aspiring athlete has the opportunity to pursue their passion.
Currently, we support over 100 athletes – both men and women – across cricket, hockey, and football. Through partnerships with local coaches and academies, we provide not only resources but also guidance and exposure to competitive platforms.
By investing in sports, we help young athletes unlock their potential and represent themselves – and their communities – with pride.
Apart from its core initiatives, the AVM Welfare Foundation runs campaigns to respond to emerging community challenges.
The AVM Welfare Foundation focuses on uplifting under-resourced communities through impactful programmes in education, healthcare, skill development, and women’s empowerment – helping individuals build stronger, more self-reliant futures.
You can support our mission by donating or volunteering your time and skills toward our ongoing programmes. Every contribution – big or small – helps create lasting change. Reach out to us, and our team will gladly guide you through the process.
The AVM Welfare Foundation primarily operates in underserved communities across rural regions and urban slum areas, focusing on where support is needed most. Our head office is located in Mandideep, Madhya Pradesh.
Through our flagship initiative, “Empowering 500 Dreams,” the AVM Welfare Foundation has successfully supported students, athletes, artists, medical aspirants, and budding engineers – helping them take confident steps toward their goals.
This programme reflects our unwavering commitment to nurturing potential and recognising talent, no matter the starting point. By offering personalised mentorship, essential resources, and continuous support, we ensure that every participant has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and build a brighter future.
“Empowering 500 Dreams” is more than a programme – it’s a movement to invest in ambition, celebrate resilience, and turn aspirations into reality.
